| "Best Prepaid Debit Card Ever" |
I have other bank debit cards and one credit union debit card and first I want to say that none of these banks are going to pay me for referring people to open accounts with them. If they do, then it is for a short period of time and then that is it.
The RushCard when you compare it to other prepaid debit cards also has fees attached to it. People have to read their paperwork once they get it in the mail. It tells how much one must have on their card before a gas purchase can go through. It is not a bank card where $1.00 is all you need to get a $20-$40.00 fill up, banks will charge an overdraft fee if you don't have this money in the bank two to three days after a fill up.
Yes all computer and data systems have to be updated every once in a while, so waiting for 4 hours (as the Last Poster put it) was just unfortunate. Google has done it several times, and my own bank has done it, that's life.
Keep in mind who this card can help. It helps those who can't get a bank account due to whatever circumstance. I am glad that people can stop going to check cashers every week or two, to cash their checks. Some people go to bars, carryouts, and pawnshops to cash their check for an even greater fee then what The Rushcard Could ever charge you in 1 WHOLE YEAR.
You have people and Adult Teens walking around with wads of money in their socks and pockets only for it to get confiscated when they could load what they have made onto the RushCard and earn an honest living thereafter referring people like you to get their very own RushCard. The RushCard Pays $5.00 for everyone who is referred to them, and upon activation.
It is true that Russell Simmons Make money with this company, but he has managed to find a way to give back so you can make more than you invest to activate your RushCard. $5.00 may not be much to you, but tell 20 people or more a month and see how much extra in a year you can have made, especially when people pay that much and more in overdraft and check cashing fees. No other card offer that income earning opportunity, the most I have seen is that they will give you a one time $25.00 credit toward a direct deposit and that is it. If you have a regular bank card, then make money with the RushCard and make monthly transfers to your other account to avoid and transaction fees, or ATM Fees. | "I would rather carry $2000 in my hands all day!" |
| I received this card about 3 years ago the first 2 years were fine.. Then i started having nothing but problems.. I was stuck 75 miles from home because i could not access my money because their system was updating.. I had to sit at a gas station for 4 hours.. This happened 4 times then i just changed my direct deposit to accountnow visa...Rush card sucks soooo bad!!! |

| "WORSE CARD EVER" |
| I never received a replacement card after my card expired. I was told I'd have to wait 7-10 business days to receive another one and couldn't access my money until then. I'm looking to take some action against this company NOW!!! |

| "Don't Get the RushCard" |
| I can't believe Russell Simmons could endorse this card or even put his name on it. When I finally received my card, I looked at the different ways to deposit money onto the card. I said to myself that I would do it through PayPal. Big mistake. They charged me like 30 bucks to set it all up and then it took over a week for the funds to get deposited. Once I could actually use the card, they charged me a dollar for each transaction. I never saw anything that said it was a dollar a transaction. Needless to say, this card/account is gone. |

| "Russell should be ashamed for promoting this junk " |
I had my check deposited and then their ATM system crashed,so I couldn't get cash. Had to use card for everything!! Plus had to pay a buck per purchase. After a week they announced that system was working, but my card still wouldn't work. Went to tons of machines to get cash. Finally after hours (literally) on the phone w/CS they told me I wasnt using the machine right. HUH???I've had this card for almost 2 yrs. What an insult, considering the reps dont really speak english and they keep repeating the same info over and over again as if they are reading from a script. I demanded that they send me an express check because I had major bills to pay. THey said $30 and I said "hell no". Finally they said I should get the check via DHL the next day. So I called to get a tracking number, but they didnt know what the heck that was.
I had to get gas for my truck and the card was declined. HOW EMBARASSING. I double checked my acct and I had plenty of money to get gas. I called CS and they said I requested a new card, so they cancelled out my existing card. WTF????? I have never met such a group of incompetent and ignorant set of people in my life. Not once did I ask for a new card. So now I waited, and waited. It took 4 days to get a check and another 5 days for a new card.
I've tried to leave Russell a message on his myspace page and he keeps deleting it. I guess he doesnt want everybody to know what a crappy product he endorses. Does anybody still buy Phat Farm anyway??? I suggest everyone complain. I filed w/the BBB of NY. They should be cited. I am also going to the Attorney General of NYC. |

| this card is great for traveling to take $$ out of the atm. i used to have to do that with my credit cards and paid highly because of the interest. and now, i just use my pre-paid cards when i need to take $$ out which is great for the casinos and cab fare. so, if you need a pre-paid card, this is def. a good choice. |

| i have the pink card and it's so convenient. you can load thru paypal and it's great to take when you travel. pre-paid cards are better for when you need cash out the atm..instead of taking it out of a credit card with high interests. thanks again to this website and i'm very pleased with this card. |

| "cute card!!" |
| just got the pink babyphat card and am throughly pleased with it. you get to choose your own pin # and get to choose which design you want. same benefits as other prepaid cards, but i really liked the $10,000 line. so if you want a prepaid card and want to put in a high limit, go for this one. |
